1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of EXCARRA. Creating an account implies acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Pilot version
The platform is currently offered as a pilot version. It facilitates connections, listing publication, booking requests, messaging and reviews. EXCARRA does not collect any payment in this version. Displayed estimates are neither invoices nor proof of payment.
3. Eligibility and account
Users declare that they have the required legal capacity, provide accurate information and protect their login credentials. Age, licence seniority, notice and duration conditions are configured per listing and checked against the information declared in the profile.
4. Owners’ obligations
- describe the vehicle, its condition, features and availability honestly;
- have the necessary rights to offer it;
- comply with applicable insurance, registration, roadworthiness and tax rules;
- do not publicly display an unnecessary private address;
- handle requests fairly and inform the renter promptly.
5. Obligations des locataires
- provide accurate driver information;
- comply with the listing terms and the agreed use;
- do not circumvent restrictions or use a vehicle without appropriate coverage;
- report any incident or disagreement without delay.
6. Requests and availability
A request remains pending until accepted by the owner. An accepted request blocks the corresponding period. EXCARRA may automatically prevent or reject overlaps and periods marked unavailable.
7. Annulation
A pending request may be cancelled. In the pilot version, an accepted booking may be cancelled by the renter more than 48 hours before departure. These rules will change when payment, deposit and refunds are activated.
8. Messaging and content
Users must communicate respectfully, lawfully and relevantly. Harassment, spam, fraud, unlawful content and abusive data collection are prohibited. EXCARRA may moderate, suspend or remove content or an account in the event of risk or breach.
9. Reviews
Only participants in a rental marked as completed may publish a review linked to that booking. Reviews must describe a genuine experience, remain respectful and contain no unnecessary personal data.
10. EX Points
The EX programme is experimental. EX are neither currency, a financial asset nor legal tender. Their allocation, use value and availability may change. The pilot version does not offer purchases of EX or any promise of conversion into money.
11. Verification
The current module is intended to test the journey. It does not replace a professional KYC provider. Users must not submit genuine documents while this warning is displayed in the interface.
12. EXCARRA’s role and liability
EXCARRA provides a technical matchmaking service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, EXCARRA is neither the owner of the vehicles, nor an insurer, nor a party to any agreement entered into between users. The platform performs reasonable checks but does not guarantee the identity, solvency, compliance or conduct of each member.
13. Suspension and termination
EXCARRA may restrict or suspend an account if security is compromised, fraud is suspected, the Terms are breached, an authority requests it or a technical necessity arises. Users may request account closure, subject to data that must be retained.
14. Intellectual property
Users retain their rights to the content they publish and grant EXCARRA a non-exclusive, worldwide authorisation, limited to the period necessary to host, display and moderate that content as part of the service.
15. Applicable law and disputes
Les CGU sont soumises à Droit français, sans priver un consommateur des protections impératives éventuellement applicables. Les parties sont invitées à rechercher une solution amiable avant toute action.
These Terms describe the current MVP. They must be replaced or supplemented by rental, payment, insurance, deposit, mediation and refund terms before these features are activated commercially.
